Here is an interesting article breaking down how A-Rod could fit into a number of other MLB teams.
On one hand, the author cherry-picked the worst contracts on each team and substituted them with A-Rod. This is very easy to do in hindsight. On the other hand, it really shows how teams are overspending on talent:

Our 2008 season starts @ St. Stephens and we are privileged enough to be featured as the 1st game of the week on KLTF. Rick Grammond will likely be doing the play-by-play. Rick is the Vin Scully of the Victory League and it’s always great to listen to him call a baseball game.
