My final memory of Yankee stadium was tainted by the fact that they did not mention the greatest manager in Yankee history, Joe Torre. Pretty weak of the Steinbrenners.
Four World Series championships and 12 consecutive trips to the postseason isn’t to shabby. He certainly left on a down note but I agree that it was pretty weak.
