Here is an interesting article breaking down how A-Rod could fit into a number of other MLB teams.
On one hand, the author cherry-picked the worst contracts on each team and substituted them with A-Rod. This is very easy to do in hindsight. On the other hand, it really shows how teams are overspending on talent:
